Charmaine Gorman

Charmaine has been in the entertainment industry for 30 years as an actor, writer and producer. Working extensively in Australian television and theatre, some acting highlights include: being nominated for a Greenroom award while working for the MTC, touring for Bell Shakespeare and roles in some great musicals.

Charmaine has had three plays produced, and written several others. She has written for television sketch comedy, received FilmVic script development funding for a feature, development funding from the ACTF and worked with one of Australia’s best loved authors adapting a novel for screen.

Charmaine lived in Berlin for 10 years and during her time there she wrote, produced and starred in her short film Ricochet, ran the Down Under Berlin Film Festival, appeared in 10 plays including touring Germany extensively with English speaking Shakespeare company Whitehorse.

Settled back in Australia with her young family, Charmaine continues to tell people stories, working passionately to produce character driven tales about relationships and family, combining her three disciplines. She co-produced More Than This for Paramount + with her sister Kate and also took on the role of Script Development Advisor.

Kate has worked in the Entertainment industry for the last 30 years acting and directing. As an actor appearing in more than 10 Feature films, had the lead or guest roles in 35 TV programs, worked in theatre both in Australia and in the UK in over 25 productions.

As a writer she has written for network sketch comedy and breakfast radio.

Kate wrote and directed the award winning film ‘FIVE MOMENTS OF INFIDELITY’ which won - Best Film DIGISPAA, Best Film Salento IFF (Italy), Best film Idaho PIFF (USA), The film received further nominations for Best Screenplay, best direction and several best performances nominations. It had a theatrical release in NZ and DVD release worldwide.

In the last few years Kate has moved into documentary film making, co producing and directing three documentaries over 5 years including THE FACE OF BIRTH, which had a World Wide independent theatrical release, and helped changed government policy. Kate directed two episodes of the documentary series BRINGING OUR STORIES HOME for the ABC.

Along with sister Charmaine and daughter Olivia, Kate is passionate about continuing to develop and produce unique and entertaining film and TV. The sisters produced More Than This for Paramount + and Kate directed 3 episodes.

Olivia Deeble

Olivia is the creator, writer and lead actor of Paramount + original series More Than. With many years of acting under her belt she has starred as Princess Roxana, one of the lead roles in the Disney + film The Secret Society of Second Born Royals released late 2020.

Previously she played the incredibly popular Raffy Morrison for three years on the award winning and much loved TV series Home and Away. For her role Olivia won a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award (the famous Orange blimp and the privilege of being slimed) in the category of Favourite Rising Star. Before this Olivia starred as Tamara Noodle in two seasons of the multi international awarding winning children’s comedy series Little Lunch.

Olivia has appeared on the cover of Girlfriend and Stella Magazine’s and named as one of WHO Weekly’s 20 most beautiful people.

Olivia is passionate about telling authentic Australian stories, emerging as a strong screen writer, she joined the family company ‘Baby Banksia’ to develop and produce her teen drama series ‘More Than This.
